NX8048T050 - Nextion 5.0” Basic Series HMI-berøringsskjerm

Took it out of the box and had it showing sensor data from my Raspberry Pi within the hour—the 5-inch display is crisp and the touch response is snappy, even with my thick fingers. The documentation was clear enough to get the UART wiring right on the first try.

The serial interface was way easier to wire up than I expected, and the 5-inch display is crisp enough for my custom recipe timer setup. It’s been running nonstop for two weeks without a hiccup.

Was skeptical about hooking this up to my espresso machine’s control panel, but the 5-inch screen’s crispness surprised me right out of the box. The interface lag is barely noticeable, and I’ve had zero glitches during a full week of daily temp and timer adjustments.
