The IPEX connector snapped on with a satisfying click and the FPC backing is thin enough to tuck along the edge of my project case without bulging. Signal stayed solid across the room, which is all I really needed it to do.
The FPC antenna is surprisingly flexible, so bending it into tight spots inside my router was a breeze, and the IPEX connector clicked on securely with zero wobble. Signal strength on the 2.4G band improved noticeably after swapping out the old stubby one.
Took a chance on this despite the region warning and it worked out. The IPEX connector snapped on firmly and the FPC cable laid flat against my router's board without any bulge.
