Took it out of the box and had the Wi-Fi scanning within five minutes thanks to the pre-loaded demo, and the CTP touchscreen responds fast enough for quick swipes. The Bluetooth 5 LE pairing with my phone was painless too.
The Bluetooth 5 connection was rock solid when I paired it with my wireless keyboard, no drops even across the room. Camera hookup took a bit of fiddling with the pins, but the touchscreen interface once it's running is genuinely smooth for a board this size.
Setting this up with the built-in Wi-Fi was painless, and I was up and running in about ten minutes. The 2.8" touchscreen responds instantly to my finger, and the fact that it supports an external camera means I can already see plenty of project potential.
