The schedule feature is what sold me—set it to turn on at dusk and it just works, no fiddling. My regular bulb feels properly smart now, and the RF option gives me a backup when the Wi-Fi acts up.
Took about two minutes to convert my dumb kitchen bulb into one I can schedule from the couch, and the RF remote still works on top of the app control. The auto-on/off timer has made my mornings way less chaotic — lights are already on when I stumble in for coffee.
The WiFi pairing was surprisingly quick, and now I just shout at my phone to turn the porch light off from bed instead of getting up. The RF remote compatibility means my old wall switch still works as a backup, which is more than I expected for the price.
